Announcing the Early Access Program for Nanome AI: The Next Generation of Molecular Design

October 16, 2024

We’re excited to introduce Nanome AI, the next revolutionary step in molecular exploration! Nanome AI brings together the power of Nanome 2.0 and MARA, a culmination of our vision that has been in the making for over 9 years. Since 2015, we’ve been on a mission to redefine how scientists interact with data and molecules, and Nanome AI is the breakthrough that will drive the next wave of scientific discovery. This marks a major milestone on our path toward creating the ultimate interface for science—one that accelerates breakthroughs and helps advance humanity.

Nanome AI is available for Early Access Today

We’re launching Nanome AI in early access, giving users the chance to be among the first to experience its groundbreaking capabilities. This is just the beginning—by getting your hands on Nanome AI now, you’ll have the opportunity to explore its cutting-edge tools, provide valuable feedback, and help shape its future. Over the next year, we’ll be rolling out a ton of exciting new features and enhancements, expanding its potential even further. Your insights will be critical as we fine-tune Nanome AI to push the boundaries of molecular exploration and scientific discovery. Request early access today to be among the first to explore Nanome AI and help shape the future of molecular exploration and scientific discovery!

Introducing Native AI Integration

Nanome AI includes Nanome 2.0, which we began developing over two years ago with the goal of amplifying the impact Nanome has delivered over the years. Nanome 2.0 is designed to seamlessly integrate with MARA, our Molecular Analysis and Reasoning Assistant. This integration allows users to set up and navigate their workspaces using natural language, making the platform more intuitive than ever. Long-time users might recall our initial foray into voice commands—this feature was immensely popular among many of you. Consider the MARA integration a spiritual successor to those voice commands, but significantly enhanced and much more extensible. Whether you’re setting up complex experiments or need to switch tasks, just say the word—MARA will handle the rest. Please note that this is an early access release, and at present, MARA supports loading a single structure into Nanome 2.0. However, we are actively working on extending this functionality to include more comprehensive workflows, deeper integrations, and enhanced interactions in future updates.

Revamped Collaboration and Visualization

With Nanome 2.0, we’ve overhauled our collaboration, rendering, and menu systems to be more intuitive and feel more natural when interacting in the 3D environment. This complete redesign means scientists can dive straight into their work with minimal setup. Our focus is on enhancing the user interface and interaction modes to ensure that collaborative medicinal chemistry ideation and capture are fluid, intuitive, and productive.

Optimized for Spatial Computing and all-in-one Headsets

Our new platform is tailored for the latest in extended reality (XR) hardware, including the Meta Quest 3 and Apple Vision Pro. This ensures that Nanome 2.0 is not just compatible but optimized for the most advanced XR experiences available, providing unparalleled clarity and user experience.

Initial focus: Medchem Ideation & Native AI integration

Important Notice for Early Access Participants

As we embark on the journey to refine the perfect Nanome 2.0, we want our early adopters to be aware of some key differences from the previous version. During the initial phase, not all features from Nanome 1.0 will be available. This includes popular functionalities such as spatial recording and the EDM maps .

Our primary focus for Nanome 2.0 is to enhance the fundamental features that support collaborative design sessions. This involves leveraging the power of native AI integration with MARA to streamline and enrich your scientific workflows. By concentrating on these core aspects, we aim to provide a robust and efficient tool that meets the specific needs of our users in the scientific community.

We appreciate your understanding and are excited to have you join us in this critical phase of development. Your feedback will be invaluable in shaping a tool that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of the drug discovery communities.

What’s New in Nanome 2.0?
